A mobile camp in the western Serengeti, this is an intimate connection
to nature in the world’s finest game park. Attentive service
with five course bush cuisine. A rare opportunity to experience
close contact with the world’s greatest migration. The vast
plains of the Serengeti comprise 1.5 million ha of savannah. The
annual migration to permanent water holes of vast herds of herbivores
(wildebeest, gazelles and zebras), followed by their predators,
is one of the most impressive natural events in the world. The
park also hosts a huge population of resident game that makes
a visit well worthwhile at any time of the year.
Location
Kensington Serengeti is a tented camp located in the Kirawira
area of the Grumeti corridor, on the west side of Serengeti national
park. It can be reached by air from the Grumeti airstrip (a 10min
drive away), or by road from Ngorongoro (5hr leisurely game drive
through the park). It is also only an hour from Lake Victoria,
and two hours from the Kenya border.
